Overview

The Order Manager Pro also includes a suite for store-based analytics which can be viewed by going to the Sales Report page via the navigation menu.

This page shows a range of metrics for the date range specified in the top left of the screen in red text (e.g: “Jan 01 - Dec 31” in the attached screenshot). These metrics include:

  • Total Sales: this is the total sales revenue for the specified date range.

  • Total Orders: number of orders for the date range.

  • Cancelled Orders: this is the total number of orders that were cancelled during the specified period.

  • Acceptance Time: shows the minimum, maximum and average time it took orders to be marked as “accepted” in the system.

  • Dispatch Time: minimum, maximum and average time it took delivery orders to be dispatched from the restaurant.

  • Delivery Time: minimum, maximum and average amount of time orders spent in the “delivering” status.

  • Completion Time: minimum, maximum and average time it took for all orders to go from being created to being closed-out (completed).

  • Top Items by Sales: shows a list of the top menu items based on sales volume (revenue) from this specific restaurant location.

  • Top Categories by Sales: shows a list of the top menu item categories based on sales volume (revenue) from this specific restaurant location.

Date Selector

The date period which is used to generate the data on the Sales Report page can be changed by pressing on the red calendar icon at the top left of the page.

Pressing on this calendar icon will open a modal window from which you can select from a range of pre-specified date ranges (e.g Today, Yesterday, Last Week, Last Month, etc.) or you can select a custom date range.

Pressing on the Day tab on the Date Settings modal for the Sales Report allows you to select from two presets: Today or Yesterday. After selecting a preset you should press on Done in the top right hand corner of the modal window to apply the date range.

There are also 3 weekly presets that can be selected from the Date Settings modal. Similar to the Day presets, you just need to select one (by pressing on it) and then pressing the Done button to apply the range to the data.

Under the Month presets for the Sales Report date selector there are 3 options: Last 30 days, This month and Last month. Press on one of them and then press Done to update the data on the Sales Report.

If you wish to see the analytics for a custom date period, you can press the Custom option under the Date Settings modal and provide a custom Start and End date (by pressing on the Start date and End date labels and selecting from the calendar picker that appears).

After specifying the date range and pressing Done, the metrics will be updated to reflect the specified period.

Total Sales

The Total Sales panel shows the gross revenue for the the specified date range. It also shows a percentage comparison in smaller font under the revenue amount for the current date period compared with the period of the same length directly preceding it.

You can also press on the Total Sales tile to open a Summary View of the sales for the specified date range.

Summary View

The Summary View for Total Sales shows additional metrics for gross revenue during the selected date range (in red) and the period of time directly preceding it (in blue), and includes:

  • Hourly Revenue Numbers: this component shows a bar graph which segments order revenue by the time of day each order was created.

  • Gross Sales: Gross revenue.

  • Average Sale Per Order: provides the average “Basket Size” which is the gross revenue divided by the number of orders.

Total Orders

The Total Orders panel shows the number of orders for the the specified date range. It also shows a percentage comparison in smaller font under the revenue amount for the current date period compared with the period of the same length directly preceding it.

You can also press on the Total Orders tile to open a Summary View of the sales for the specified date range.

Summary View

The Summary View for Total Orders shows additional metrics for the number of transactions during the selected date range (in red) and the period of time directly preceding it (in blue), and includes:

  • Hourly Transaction Numbers: this component shows a bar graph which segments the number of orders by the time of day each order was created.

  • Order Summary: the total number of sales.

Cancelled Orders

The Cancelled Orders panel shows the total number of orders that were marked as cancelled for the selected date range either via the Order Manager Pro application or via the Customer Service Pro (CSPro). It also shows a percentage comparison with the date range directly preceding the selected period.

Acceptance Time

The Acceptance Time panel shows the minimum, maximum and average amount of time it took for orders placed during the current date period to be accepted by the restaurant.

Dispatch Time

The Dispatch Time panel shows the minimum, maximum and average amount of time it took for orders placed during the current date period to go from being sent to the restaurant to being dispatched to the customer (by the delivery driver).

Delivery Time

The Delivery Time panel shows the minimum, maximum and average amount of time delivery orders spent in the “Delivering” state.

Completion Time

The Completion Time panel shows the minimum, maximum and average amount of time it took for orders placed during the current date period to go from being sent to the restaurant to being marked as “Completed” in the Foodkit system.

Top Items by Sales/Orders

The Top Items by Sales/Orders panel shows a list of menu items sorted by the otal sales volume for that individual menu item (for the selected date range). By default it will be sorted by revenue, with the highest revenue items appearing in the list first. You can also press on the downwards facing arrow on the right hand side of the heading to change between Top Items by Sales and Top Items by Orders. Selecting Top Items by Orders will show a similar list, but will use the number of orders which the menu item appeared on as the sort-by metric (instead of revenue).

Top Categories by Sales/Orders

The last panel on the Sales Report page is a doughnut chart which shows the breakdown of order line items based on category. It shows which categories are responsible for the bulk of your sales volume. By default it will show the sales composition by revenue, but you can press on the downwards facing arrow to toggle between Sales (revenue) and Orders (transactions).
